Data Integration Project Manager

Role Description‍

This individual will lead projects between Ennabl and its clients to build integration points for customer data. This person will be the key liaison between the client, data operations teams and data engineering teams, and will make sure that all of Ennabl’s Data Integration Projects are on track and will meet deadlines. Please note that this person will me more than just a project manager - this person will be expected to be comfortable understanding and manipulating data, defining engineering requirements, and debugging data integration and data mapping errors.‍

The Key Responsibilities

Managing Ennabl’s Data Integration Projects
Working with directly with customer insurance agencies to identify key data elements and building out data models to hold them
Lead data extraction, data standardisation and enrichment efforts
Work with customers to understand and build requirements for data related projects
Understand how Ennabl’s ETL pipeline works and its components
Test loaded client data to ensure that it meets requirements
Troubleshoot and document data issues, communicate and discuss with internal teams or customers
Good at Finding the right data to solve problems
Being flexible in role and responsibility

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Math, or related discipline
Experience working as a service provider directly with customers to develop data-centric solutions
Experience managing teams of data engineers (and/or software engineers)
Strong Analytical skills – has the ability to start from ambiguous problem statements, identify and access relevant data, make appropriate assumptions, perform insightful analysis and draw conclusions relevant to the business problem
SQL knowledge and Hands-on experience
Experience with other modern data tools like PySpark, AWS Glue or others
Working knowledge of database design and ETL processes
Experience with interactive data visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc
Works at least 6 hours of coverage for the New York time zone (either from the USA, from UK/Ireland or from any other place with a commitment to time-switch)

Outstanding Candidates Will Have

Experience in Insurance industry and agency management systems
Startup experience
Experience with AWS (SageMaker, Glue, etc.)
Hands on expertise with PySpark
