Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with test case creation and execution (manual and/or automated)
- Experience with basic SQL queries for data validation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and guidelines
- Quick learner with a genuine interest in QA work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with manual testing of our data extraction application
- Report and document bugs clearly and thoroughly
- Follow test cases and checklists provided by senior QA staff
- Collaborate with developers and the rest of the QA team to debug issues
- Learn company systems and QA tools quickly
- Help improve QA processes and documentation
