Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a data-focused role, preferably working with B2B or SaaS products
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to working with both structured and unstructured data
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs), including an understanding of prompt engineering, LLM-based data analysis, and integrating LLMs into data workflows
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles, data quality best practices, and ETL processes
- Experience working with structured data in SQL, spreadsheets, or similar analytical tools
- Ability to clearly document findings, assumptions, and workflows, and to communicate insights effectively
- Comfortable working independently and proactively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Previous experience with insurance data or in the insurance industry is a strong advantage
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and document unstructured and semi-structured insurance-related text data (e.g., policies, submissions, emails, forms)
- Use LLMs to extract and transform relevant information from large text
- Build and improve ETL pipelines that process and structure textual data at scale
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to ensure processed data meets business needs
- Normalize and enrich data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability across various use cases
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues related to data quality, completeness, and ambiguity
- Clearly communicate data-related findings and limitations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
